High Voltage 11, the most exciting and talent packed show of the series to date. The ISKA Welterweight World Champion Andrew KO keogh is making his return to the ring after a 30 month lay-off and will face-off with Mark Luchiari who has kept quite active and is making a lot of noise around the scene at present.This should be a great match up with Andrew wanting to prove his still got what it takes and Mark wanting to take a good scalp.| Wade Goodall wins the 2012 Pa & Ma Bendall Memorial |
 Wade Goodall has won the 2012 Pa & Ma Bendall ! After the first 8 minutes of the open heat Wade had posted a 9 and a 10 leaving everyone else in combo land. Wade said at the presos "That since he was a kid he'd been trying to win the Open mens division and that it meant a lot to him to have his name on the trophy alongside champions like Michael Peterson." The finals day of competition was outstanding with all competitors putting in solid performances across all divisions. click here for some pics |

This morning the 29th of March Michael Peterson passed away of a heart attack while having breakfast with his devoted mother Joan. Michael had been ill for some time with type 3 diabetes and as we all know schizophrenia. When I spoke to my Uncle Tony Phillips the Editor of Gold Coast Surf magazine, it was with a sadness in his voice the words " Michael had suffered for so long, poor guy" this is the sentiment among many that new him. Dave Reardon Smith 2008 winner !

Dave Reardon Smith will be back to try and win the Pa&Ma Bendall Memorial which he has won 5 times in the past. He will have tough competition with defending Champ and Pro Junior surfer Jake Colreavy eager to win back to back. This year the open men's prize money has doubled to $2000.00 and the open woman's to $1000.00 there are spots still available in the open woman's and only a few spots left in other divisions.
